1. Our commitment
SKomp Studio is committed to making Applify AI usable by people of all abilities. We treat accessibility as part of building the product rather than as a later pass, and we would rather describe the gaps accurately than claim conformance we have not verified.
2. The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We describe this as our target rather than a certified conformance claim: the product has not been through a formal third-party accessibility audit, and parts of it do not yet meet the standard. Section 4 lists the areas we know about.
3. What we have done
- Keyboard access: navigation, menus, forms and primary actions can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with visible focus styles.
- Semantic structure: pages use semantic HTML headings, landmarks, lists and tables, with ARIA attributes where a native element is not sufficient.
- Text alternatives: meaningful images and icon-only controls carry descriptive labels.
- Contrast: the interface palette is designed to meet AA contrast ratios for body text and controls.
- Reduced motion: animation is kept minimal and respects the operating system’s reduced-motion preference.
- Resizing: layouts reflow with browser zoom and text scaling without loss of content.
- Form errors: validation messages identify the field and describe how to fix the problem.
- Exports: generated resumes are text-based PDFs rather than images, so they remain readable by screen readers and parsers.
4. Known limitations
We are aware of the following and are working on them:
- The drag-and-drop reordering in the resume builder is difficult to operate without a pointer and needs a keyboard-accessible alternative.
- Some score strips, match visualisations and diff views convey information visually without an equivalent text description.
- Third-party embedded components, including the video player and the bot-protection widget, are outside our control and may not meet the standard.
- The product has not been formally tested end to end with each major screen reader, so there are likely issues we have not yet found.
5. Assistive technology
Applify AI is built to work with current versions of common assistive technology, including screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, speech recognition, and browser accessibility extensions, on current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
6. Feedback and assistance
If you hit an accessibility barrier, or you need help with a specific page or feature, email admin@applify-ai.com with the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within two business days.
If something in the product is blocking you, tell us and we will find another way to get you the result — including doing it for you while we fix the underlying issue. Reports of accessibility problems are treated as bugs, not as feature requests.
